Half Pace Brewing Company is a start up Nano Brewery in collaboration with Hang 10 Distillery in which all beers are brewed onsite at Warriewood. Over the course of around 12 months or so Dan and Deon slowly pieced together a small Brew House built from a combination of second hand equipment and custom built parts. A super simple set up which is capable of producing up to 500 Litres of Beer or Spirit Wash at a time.

Half Pace Brewer Dan knocks out batch sizes of 150-300 litres with a focus on highly flavourful, aromatic and quality over quantity types of beers. Still having a full time day gig, Dan puts down all the Half Pace brews in his spare time.

Half-Pace Brewing Company is the first brewery to have opened in Warriewood since May 2024 with Hang 10 Distillery opening. Currently pouring from five taps at the Hang 10 Distillery Bar, Half-Pace intends on growing but clearly not all that quickly!

We’re now excited to announce that our Laid-back Lager and Day Dream'n Hazy Pale Ale are now in cans for take away and online purchase. Grab a 4-pack or 8-pack through our website, you can pick it up for free at the distillery or we can also do a free local delivery.

  • Laid Back Lager 4.2%

    Crisp, refreshing and easy drinking, the type of beer ya go for at knock off or just simply knock back whilst enjoying some good times with some good peeps. A-take-anywhere-type-of-beer that definitely deserves a regular spot in ya Esky line up. Cheers!

  • Day Dream'n Hazy Pale Ale 4.7%

    This Hazy little Pale Ale features a mix of our favourite NZ’d and American Hops bringing an intense amount of tropical fruit, stone fruit and an ever so slight dankness. All layered on top of a malt bill built to be full, soft and hazy. Designed for a session but we reckon it’ll give ya your hop and haze fix on almost any occasion.

  • Dopamine Expedition Double Oat Cream IPA 7.7% 

    Featuring the most amount of hops we’ve added to any of our beers to date! Intensely aromatic and pungent, bursting with aromas of tropical and squishy fruit on top of a base that is big, bold, full and smooth... An iron fist, in a velvet glove that may well elevate your levels of happiness even it’s only temporary... Oh go on, take your self on a Dopamine Expedition!

  • From the Forest Forest Fruit Sour/Wild Ale 5.8%

    Another heavily fruited sour that under went a long secondary fermentation with both Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus. Once we felt the beer was ready we then conditioned it on a heavy amount of a Forest Fruits blend. Deep red in colour with a unique jamminess and bright acidity to quench your thirst!

  • Hold'n On to What's Golden - Belgian Golden Ale 6.7%

    A Belgian style Golden Ale inspired by one of the classics and fermented with a traditional yeast strain which hails from the Ardennes region of Belgium. A very simple golden malt base, sets the stage for this fruity, estery and expressive yeast strain to stop by and do it's thing. Soft, refreshing, complex yet qauffable just like a good Belgian should be!
